This was a one room space saving apartment, perfect for one person. The bed was a folding wall bed, Murphy style and the room had a little corner for a small desk. And of course, a small, romantic balcony.
What is most typical of Finland... Lakes and nature... forests, pine trees, rocks, moss.. This house is surrounded by it!
Sometimes it's about the angle. Point your camera up, or downwards, see the lines, use the lines, zoom in, zoom out.
Sometimes it's just nice to look at the details... What actually makes a house, a home.
It's winter outside. Right now -16°C, with a real feel of -25°C. What else would you need than a nice warm blanket, a real fireplace and a skylight?
One of the first properties I photographed was in Espoo, close to the sea shore. An amazingly beautiful house. It also sold quite fast!
2016 edit: thinking of it now, I was a bit lucky to get this house amongst my first. It made the job rather easy. I have evolved and learned a lot since then. Plus upgraded my gear a little bit :)
