Personally, I love candles. I have a few on almost every evening. For lack of a fireplace in my flat, when I have friends over, I always have a big bunch of candles on, one end of the table. Big and small, tall and short, all kinds.
And it's Christmas, everyone should have candles on during Christmas time. Have a magical night and get some inspiration from these beauties:

Hanging light from the renowned lighting designer Ingo Maurer uses a candle’s flickering light and a few safety mechanisms to allow for that simple candle design to hang in mid-air. This hovering candle consists of a wax-candle with a suspension rope and a drip catcher.
There is really no reason a candle has to burn from top to bottom – that is simply a tradition we have based on the way candles are conventionally made. Inspired by a model of molecular structures, Christoph Van Bommel created this innovative alternative candle design balancing between order and chaos.
A collection of really cool looking swimming pools. Probably because I am missing summer..
Named Jellyfish House, the three-storey concrete residence was designed by Wiel Arets Architects with a rooftop terrace and swimming pool to allow residents to swim and sunbathe with a view of the Mediterranean sea over neighbouring houses.
The Shaw House is located on a narrow waterfront property in Vancouver, Canada. It’s got views all across the bay to encompass the skyline of downtown Vancouver as well as the mountains on the North shore of the bay. The house designed by Patkau Architects.
Hacienda ruins repurposed as swimming pools, Mexico
Inground swimming pool. Natural pool by Biotop.
Argentina seems to be the holy land of beautiful homes. This home by Andrés Remy Arquitectos was created for a young family who wanted to feel close to nature in an urban environment.
But the best looking of all has to be this Stradivarius look inspired pool:
Cipriano Landscape Design & Custom Swimming Pools completed a violin-shaped swimming pool for a client who wanted an exact replica in scale of a 1700s era Stradivarius violin with all of its detail and intricacies. All of the violin attributes were accounted for including purlflings, f-holes, a bridge, strings, a tailpiece, and a chin rest!
Yes, still quite obsessed with bathrooms... I came across these designs and I thought to share a few of them. Not very sure how practical or easy to clean some of them are... but they sure do look gorgeous!

I loved this apartment. The kitchen was on one side of the hallway wall, half open to the livingroom and the master bedroom had huge sliding doors the size of the wall, so it felt like the whole space was just one section.
